Used North Hollywood Auto Repair twice now. Quick and easy process both times. Dan is always incredible with his status updates and explanations. If I were able to leave a higher than 5 star rating, I would.

These guys have been my mechanics since moving here in 2007. Even though it is under new management it is within the same family of mechanics that have worked for the shop since I started going. They are responsive, they listen and are fair. My 1997 is still on the road because of them and if you ask nicely they will explain ever issue about what they repaired and will stand by any repair made. They are also AAA verified so you can have you AAA repairs done there. -

Dan was very good at diagnosing all the problems. He gave me the best course of action and some alternative solutions. He walked me through each step of the inspection. showing me exactly what was wrong.. He was not the first mechanic I had taken the car to. others had wrongly diagnosed the issues giving me recommendations with no evidence. There was nothing that Dan did without first showing me hard evidence as to what the problem was. The work was completed in a timely fashion with no unneeded delays. The complete job required a complete engine replacement. The car was 2007 Chrysler 200C. He also inspected any related parts that may have affected. Showing me any that where damaged, suggesting they be replaced. He left nothing to chance returning my car back to a showroom running condition. This meant a complete cleaning of the engine compartment. I never felt I was being pressured to buy more then needed. He even informed me that things I suggested to be replaced where not needed. This caused the job to be less then I had expected.

The repairs are done well and quickly. I am always happy when I pick up my car.

I’ve been going to Jack and Dan for years. In fact, Jack has been fixing my car since the 1990s. I am taking over the shop has continued to offer the same value, consistency, an excellent service that I’ve come to expect and appreciate. These guys are honest, they are fair, and they are good at what they do.
