I was not able to complete a smog check on my own for a 2002 Tacoma because it required a complex driving test to trigger a sensor. Dan and the North Hollywood Auto team got the sensor to work and the smog test is complete! Removed a lot of stress for me.

I was referred to North Hollywood Auto Repair by my landlord when I moved to Studio City. I have been using them for 15 years, first for an aging car and currently for a newer car. When it came time for me to think about moving on from the older car, I knew I could trust Dan to honestly discuss what kinds of repairs my old car might soon need and it helped me to decide to purchase a car with fewer issues, which meant less money for them. I have really appreciated how Dan, and now also John, are friendly, professional, and let me ask them about how something in the car works even unrelated to a repair. I have over the years gone for a road test several times with them for no charge if I think I hear something or have a concern about the safety or functioning of my car, which I greatly appreciate. I know I can count on them to send me on my way if there is no issue requiring a repair. I am very glad I have Dan and John in my corner regarding all aspects of my car.

NoHo Auto Repair is the only place I bring my car to for bow to stern service. Owner Dan is extremely knowledgeable and takes time to explain (with photos!) whats ailing the guts of your vehicle. And they are always cheerful and kind, too, and that helps!
