To make a long story short, I needed an objective, third-party inspection of my vehicle after receiving some distressing news from the service department at the dealership where I purchased the car in August 2024. I called up North Hollywood Auto Repair and briefly described the situation to Dan over the phone. He said bring the car over here and we will take it for a drive. Once Dan drove the car and heard the noise that prompted me to take the car to the dealership's service department to begin with he said he would need a day or two to put the car up on the rack, complete a thorough inspection and provide a report on his findings. Throughout the experience Dan was very kind, straightforward and easy to speak to. He is a fantastic listener and clearly enjoys helping people get their car needs taken care of. Ultimately, Dan figured out the problem and literally tightened the subframe bolts that the service department at the dealership must have loosened (and I suspect it was with intent to create a problem that would prompt me to bring the car back to them for repair) and he provided a clear explanation of his findings and an official report with photos. He charged a modest fee for the inspection and gave me back my peace of mind (on this issue.) I was very relieved and also heartened by Dan's honesty and candor. His colleague John was also very kind and helpful during the time we spent at the shop. I will 100% bring my vehicle to North Hollywood Auto Repair should I experience any issues in the future and I will recommend this shop to my family and friends as well.
