10/23/2023 Visit: I brought my 2008 Crown VIC in for a checkup but they also found that the rear passenger-side blinker was not flashing at all. (Quite dangerous when changing lanes on the freeway! I was unaware of the issue). Turned out the problem was the blinker harness, not something simple like changing a bulb. It took days to diagnosis the issue as they had to check more than just the wiring. (Things like the lighting control module, “computer” ). The effort involved reminded me of the “Labors of Hercules” but it paid off and the car is now running fine. Thank you, NH Auto. (BTW: the total bill was a lot less than I expected, given the hours involved in resolving the matter. I appreciate that). 08/28/2023 Visit. Here we go again! Another great review for NH Auto. I took my Crown VIC in for its 6-month maintenance check – only I was 6 months late this time. I had specific questions about the inflation of the spare tire, the condition of the radiator coolant, and the stain on top of the battery. They got back to me the next day and answered each question directly. They also had some questions for me. For example, did I want to replace the rear tires and brakes? It wasn’t exactly in my plans, but it needed to be done so I gave them the go ahead. The car now runs as good as ever and I will be timelier about bringing it in for maintenance checks. BTW: their turnaround time is good – at most a few days-- and I saved some bucks with my AAA discount too. A+++ 05/22/2023 Visit: They did it again! They diagnosed and fixed my car's problem on the first try (bad alternator). The service was completed quickly, fairly priced, and I'm a happy camper. So... stop reading this review and take your vehicle to them now! Overall grade: A+++. I’ve used North Hollywood Auto for over 30 years and their service is top-notch. I take my car in twice yearly for a general inspection as well as those “surprise issues” that crop up (e.g. the engine light comes on and stays on). They have never failed to diagnose and fix an issue the first time. They take appointments, give a discount for AAA members, and are straight shooters when it comes to the repair cost. Who could ask for anything more? 04/2023 visit ! This time I accidentally damaged the right front flasher unit on my car. (I was just born lucky). I called North Hollywood Auto, they ordered the part, I dropped my card off in the morning and picked it up later that day. The install looks good as new and the price was right. They also offer a discount for AAA members. I highly recommend this business. To top it off they are a bunch of nice guys. You can’t go wrong with them.
