These guys are absoluely amazing! They will tell you the truth, will listen to your concerns and limitations, and be reasonable on pricing. They ended up having to fix work done on my car by other mechanics not as honest. They took their time to get to the bottom of the issues and I did not have a horror bill at the end of it. But more importantly, it has been a while since they have done the work and I have had no issues with any of the parts they replaced and worked on. Thank you so so much! My car has been smoothly running but as it is aging, with regular maintanence and things that may come up, I will be continuing to take it here where it is cared for!

Dan and John at North Hollywood Auto Repair are exactly what you hope to find in mechanics. They are honest, fairly priced and will give it to you straight with a priority on anything that affects the safety of your vehicle. They have saved me thousands in unnecessary repairs suggested by the dealer. When I needed my hybrid battery replaced around 150k miles not only were they substantially cheaper than the dealer but they were able to get the part faster! When I had a true safety issue (brakes) John asked for details on my location and the percentage on the brakes. Based on that information, the price the dealer quoted and the fact he couldn’t fit me in for a couple days, he told me if I was his sister he would tell me to let the dealer do the repairs. That kind of refreshingly honest and wholistic view of the situation cemented my loyalty to them. If friends or family mention car trouble, I send them straight for North Hollywood Auto Repair. On the few occasions something is out of their scope (bodywork) they are great with referrals to other local shops.
