I had my truck towed into North Hollywood Auto Repair late last Thursday evening... Per the recommendation of AAA and the thumbs up given from my tow truck driver, i decided to leave my truck and come back the following morning. That Friday morning I initially spoke with Jack and listed the symptoms...I was fearful i would need a new Fuel Pump and Fuel Filter. Which means i am was more than likely about to drop $600+. Jack was very nice and told me that before any repairs are made, I would receive a call to confirm...it is also printed on the back of their estimates and invoices. True to his word, Jack contacted me to inform me that it is in fact the fuel pump and i would have to replace the filter as well. Jack did an excellent job of explaining exactly why these parts are being replaced and thoroughly answered all of my questions...There was no gray area. After giving him the Ok, i did receive a call that the pump would be delayed a day due to a mix up in their vendors inventory and that my truck should be ready by Saturday @ 11am. He was very apologetic...but somethings are out of their control and i understood. The following day i received a call @ 10am that my tuck was all set...ahead of schedule. After using the $50 AAA discount (Jack mentioned it to me), my total came to $700 for parts and labor. Having done my own due diligence the night before, it was what i expected. I haven't had an issue and my truck runs great...I was treated with Respect and North Hollywood Auto provided Excellent service. Although i do my own minor repairs and Maint., in the event that a major repair is needed, i will definitely be back.
