As always, Jack and his team did a superb job. In this case, I asked them to assess the purchase of a used Lexus GS350 from a major Lexus dealer in LA. The dealer had previously Certified the car. Jack's team found that rats had previously infested the car's engine! Otherwise, engine performance and the rest of the car mechanically was in excellent condition. (Rats can do latent damage to many plastic and other non-metal parts; this damage can create serious problems in the future. The rats had nibbled about 70% the engine's firewall away for nesting material.) Based on Jack's assessment, I rejected the purchase. and showed the dealer why. The dealer had no choice but to refund my money. (The dealer put the car up for sale again as a Certified Lexus three days later, at the original price. So new buyers, be ware - and take your prospective purchase to North Hollywood Automotive.)
