I rate this a minus -Star! I never ever submit reviews but I don’t want what happened to us happen to any one else. We took in our used BMW for repairs several times (mistake on our part when they didn’t fix it properly the first time) after all, they are recommended by AAA and consider themselves ASE certified mechanics. Every visit was $1200 and every visit the initial problem led to another problem. The last time we took it in to repair a coolant hose ($1200) we drove it home and the hose ruptured after driving less than five miles. Their response was that the mechanic working on it had placed the hose backwards and that most likely there was another issue. Sure enough, they couldn’t repair the hose and now more work was needed. NEW REAPAIRS ESTIMATED TO COST $3000K. The mechanic (Dan) said the job required a lot of work $3000 worth!! He was going to try to go around the big “job” for under $1000, but if it didn’t work then we would be in for the full $3K. He recommended to get rid of the car as it was not worth fixing. We asked him to provide a written diagnostic which we are yet to see (and this has been over two months). Feeling hopeless, we relied on recommendations from friends and eventually finding a REAL mechanic To fix the problem. Cost us $800 ($200 parts $600 labor) and to this date the car is running great. The new mechanic said that we have a really good car in our hands and that as long as we maintain routine maintenance and run it with high premium gas we would have a car for a very long time. We’ve definitely learned our lesson! Even though Dan and Jack SEEM to know what they are talking about they don’t know ‘JACK’! They are very courteous and friendly but I rather they be HONEST and not take advantage. As I said , this is my first review ever. Take it as you will, but be careful, watch out for the red flags. Do your research before you commit to something that will lead to a bigger problem and burn a hole in your pocket.
